Delicious Tips

When you leave Sicily, you take many things with you: culture, atmosphere, hospitality… and usually a few extra pounds!

  • Granita: a true summer ritual. Anna recommends ricotta or toasted almond with a touch of chocolate. Raffaele prefers chocolate with cream, or mulberry with cream. Recommended spots: Caffè delle Rose, Sorbetteria, Dolceria in Marina di Ragusa.
  • Refreshments: Sicilian street food is an experience in itself, fried treats, cartocciate and scacce (traditional Ragusan flatbread). Recommended spots: Forno San Giuseppe and La Grotta in Marina di Ragusa.
  • Aperitifs: After a day at the beach, enjoy an aperitif along the promenade or in the center of Marina di Ragusa.
